Meet Mike


"Every cut is a conversation. I've been having that conversation with Chicago for 25 years."

Mike Johnson learned his craft from his father, who ran one of the South Side's most beloved shops. In 1998, Mike opened his own doors on Oak Street — and never looked back.

Today, Mike's is more than a barbershop. It's a neighborhood institution where regulars bring their sons, where stories are shared, and where every client leaves with a cut they're proud of.
